Special Education

Adult Transition Program


360 Community Services Special Education Adult Transition Program provides training, support, and an educational program to individuals with developmental disabilities ages 18 to 22 years with the goal being to have the students become as independent as possible. We collaborate with local school districts and the Nebraska Department of Education to support and prepare students’ transition into Adult DD services.

Staff


Our educational staff consists of highly trained, professional, and caring special education support professionals supervised by a master level certified Special Education Teacher licensed by the Department of Education. 


Program Curriculum Highlights


·  Curriculum taught in classroom settings and are incorporated into community outings.

·  Transition ceremony at the end of the school year for our students who are aging out of     our program.

·  Summer Camp Program offered for students during summer break.

·  This is not a diploma program

360 CS utilizes a customized curriculum based on the students’ current IEP and transition plan that focuses on the following areas of skill acquisition.
